Equity, Diversity & Inclusion for Education

The Committee on CME (COCME) has identified Questions to Consider and collated the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) resources listed below for medical educators to refer to when creating their teaching materials. The COCME encourages reflection to ensure that education is inclusive, enables rather than disempowers people and groups, and addresses structural inequities, systemic racism and associated health disparities.

We recognize that these materials are not comprehensive, and we welcome feedback from our community.  Please click here to share your feedback with the COCME and your suggestions for additional resources that would benefit medical educators.
