EQIPP: QI Foundations
Included in every EQIPP course is The Quality Improvement in Pediatric Care QI Foundations (formerly referred to as QI basics) course. The course, which is a prerequisite for all EQIPP courses, ensures all participants receive a strong education in fundamental QI principles and concepts needed to systematically and continuously improve practice processes.
- New learners who purchase any EQIPP online module will be required to complete the QI Foundations course before they are able to access their EQIPP modules.
- Learners who completed the previous QI Basics course within the last 3 years will not be required to complete QI Foundations in order to access their EQIPP modules.

Frequently Asked Questions
EQIPP: QI Foundations can not be purchased separately as this time. It is automatically included with the purchase of any other EQIPP course.
Yes, the EQIPP: QI Foundations course is eligible for both CME credit as well as MOC Part 2 points. Upon completion of the course requirements, eligible learners will be able to claim their credit(s) via the AAP Transcript system and print a certificate of completion.
